As one of the UK’s leading motivational speakers, I never set out to do this. In fact, I didn’t even know motivational speaking was a career path, let alone one I could earn a living from. But once I started sharing my story, of overcoming adversity, becoming a rally champion, and developing mental toughness, I saw the impact it had on others. That’s when I realised: this wasn’t just a job. It was a calling!

For me, it’s a combination of all three. I’ve lived through tough times, achieved things I never thought possible, and now I get to share those lessons with others. It’s incredibly rewarding to see people shift their mindset and realise what they’re capable of.

What makes a story powerful is the transformation it represents. That’s why I share not just the highs of my rally career or TV work, but also the lows, like leaving home at 14 and being homeless for two years as a teenager. Because it’s in those moments of struggle that people see themselves, and realise they too can overcome.
I didn’t plan this career, but I’m so glad I found it. Every time I step on stage, I get to witness lightbulb moments, mindset shifts, and breakthroughs. It’s not just about applause, it’s about impact.
